Maple is an 85 lb, 7-year-old hound mix with a gentle soul. She’s a pretty chill girl who enjoys going for walks and taking her time smelling all the smells along the way. After a nice stroll, she’s happiest just relaxing and spending time with her people. Maple previously lived with another dog, though she has not been dog tested with us yet. We also don’t yet know how she does with cats or kids, but we’ll learn more as we’re able. After sadly losing her owner to illness, Maple is looking for a soft place to land. She isn’t searching for a super active lifestyle, just a loving home where she can explore a backyard, enjoy some fresh air, and relax with her humans. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and her sweet personality starts to shine through. Maple will be going to the vet this Thursday for a full health exam, but she is available to meet now for anyone interested in getting to know this lovely girl.
