Stevie came to us after an unfortunate start. He was found in deplorable conditions in Eastern Kentucky that left him completely blind due to the high levels of ammonia exposure in the home from excessive amounts of waste- but that doesn’t stop him! Stevie is incredibly full of life and joy. He loves to play, snuggle, and wags his tail every time he eats! Since entering foster care, he’s been on anxiety medication that will need to be continued. He gets scared if he can’t hear his people as he has become so used to the love he never received! It does take a few days for him to settle into a new routine, but once it’s down he is just like any other happy-go-lucky dog. Because of his anxiety, Stevie would also do best in a home where the owner is home more often or works from home.
