Chances are, you have never met a friend quite like our boy. Chance is our oh-so-cute and oh-so-charming Beagle/Hound mix, born approximately 2/14/23. He’ll make a lucky someone the sweetest year ‘round Valentine. Things to consider: • Chance is friendly. He’s a leaner and thrives with people-time. • He is a “people dog” not a “leave alone in the back yard dog.” • Chance requires a 6 ft fence. Again, he is a “people dog.” • Chance is strong. He walks well with a harness. • Chance can sing. He vocalizes with his roomie (a Husky specializing in opera) so we’re thinking no apartments for this guy. • He is possibly housebroken. To be fair, shelter dogs must wait a long time between shifts. Chance uses his doggy door to do his important business outside. • Chance seems to like female dogs. His best friend at FOPAS is Lala. Introductions are required for other dogs living in or visiting the home. Chance quickly became a shelter favorite. His breed mix makes him a loyal, agreeable, and likable companion. With his stocky build, he may be better suited for older children. Chance deserves a family to love and trust.
