Meet Misty! Misty is an absolutely beautiful 2 years young female long-hair Maine Coon mix with a sweet, gentle personality and a soft, plush, and well-maintained coat. Her “diluted torti” coloring is so unique. She is in excellent health and looking for her second chance at a loving life! Misty was surrendered due to unavoidable circumstances (a domestic dispute) and is ready for a peaceful, stable forever home. This stunning girl is an affectionate cat who promises to return all the love you give her tenfold! She gets along well with other cats and dogs and loves lounging in a window hammock, allowing the sun to cascade across her gorgeous fur. Once she feels settled, Misty is playful and enjoys occasional, energetic "zoomies". She seeks a human who will shower her with attention and devotion. Misty is ready to give her heart—is your home ready to receive it? Misty is spayed, is up to date with vaccines / FVRCP / Rabies ( if age appropriate), is FIV/FeLV negative, is parasite free and microchipped. TRANSPORT IS INCLUDED PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to adopt Misty, an ADOPTION APPLICATION must be submitted first to be considered. An inquery is NOT an adoption application. The adoption application can be found on our Petfinder page under ( more about us) or email us at info@friendsoffelinesrescue.org and we will send you the link. Only serious inquiries will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING Our adoptable pets come from various rescue situations in South Florida, where overpopulation is a challenge and the dump rates for animals are high. They live with foster families, so they're already comfortable in a home environment. We arrange transport only after adoption to avoid the stress of the shelter system environment. You can meet them via video call with their foster. The adoption donation includes transport, spay/neuter, all required vaccinations up to date , Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and parasite treatment. All adopted cats and kittens will go to a vet health exam prior to transport and will come with a veterinarian's health certificate for travel. They will be delivered to a pickup location near you by professional transporters who will tend to them throughout their journey up North. We will provide updates on their journey and arrival time to your area.
