About Maggie
Think you are the one? Submit an application! If you need a 55 lb professional cuddler in your life, look no further! Maggie is a gorgeous Labrador Retriever mix who is officially ready to find her forever family. At 5 1/2 years old, Maggie is in the sweet spot of doghood—she has plenty of love to give and has already mastered her house manners, but she still maintains a happy, playful spirit. Maggie was recently surrendered by her previous owner, who could no longer provide for her needs despite their deep affection. Now, this smiling girl is eager to find a new couch (and a human) to call her own! Why you’ll love having Maggie in your family: She has a constant smile and greets everyone as a new best friend. In the perfect age range past the puppy phase, she’s ready to settle comfortably into your daily routine. Fully house trained and a pro at lounging while you work, Maggie is also very food-motivated and picks up new tricks quickly! Her health is up-to-date, with current vaccinations, and she is also heartworm negative and microchipped. Maggie’s ideal home is a single-family house without shared walls, as she likes to "sing" when left alone and would not be suitable for apartments. She would do best in a home without small dogs or small children, as she enjoys enthusiastic play with similarly sized friends. Maggie is a loyal and affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side. If you’re ready to give her the loving home she deserves, she can’t wait to be a part of your life! Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
