1 year old Temperament: Friendly, Lapcat, Snuggly If you looked up "affectionate" in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of Arlene! Sweet Arlene loves attention and isn't shy about asking for it. She'll gently head butt your legs or arms to politely (but persistently) request pets. She'll quietly curl up in your lap at the end of the day for an evening cuddle. And when she gets excited to see you, she drools! Your hands might get a bit wet, but her adorable face makes up for it. Arlene also loves to play - string toys, laser pointers, toy mice. You name it, she'll chase it. She's even mastered the art of fetch! Playtime with her is silly, full of crazy cat leaps, and so much fun. When she's tuckered herself out, Arlene will tuck herself away in a cozy hiding spot (usually under the couch) for a long cat nap. This little girl really is the best of both worlds. She's perfectly content entertaining herself. She's great at solo play and can keep herself occupied with her toys and cat tower. But as soon as you get home she's ready to play and cuddle with her person. She contains multitudes! While she's a bit timid in new places, she really blossoms when she has time to warm up. She politely sniffs anyone new who comes into her space and is a curious girl who wants to make new friends, just on her own terms! Arlene really is such a lovely kitty with so much love to give.
