About Gordo
This could be the start of something paw-some. Gordo is a charismatic 2-year-old “chonk” who has won hearts with his love for all things food. To keep him happy and healthy, you’ll want to monitor his meals closely—he’d happily snack all day if he could! One of Gordo’s favorite activities is catching water drops from the tub faucet, and he’s a spirited playmate who enjoys chases with his foster sibling, Janey Lane. Since the two have become inseparable BFFs over the past year, Gordo would love to be adopted along with Janey if possible. A fun fact: Gordo was born on October 17, which makes him a Libra—known for their playful and social nature! He’s a wonderful companion for a seasoned cat owner. Gordo appreciates affection on his own terms and can become overstimulated if petting goes on too long, sometimes giving a gentle nip when he’s had enough. His foster family has helped him build trust, so he’s learning to communicate his boundaries and enjoys petting when given control. What are you waiting for? Apply today! ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. All pets are in volunteer foster homes.
