About Gia
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Gia! This beautiful medium-sized girl’s breed is a bit of a mystery, though she has the classic look of a shepherd. Gia is a dream on and off leash and loves to join dog parks and long walks, making her a shining companion for any dog lover. She’s thriving in her foster home, where she’s proven to be both crate and house trained and lives harmoniously with several other dogs. Car rides and adventures are Gia’s favorite, and her alert but gentle curiosity on walks—like hopping into bushes at the sound of a lizard—is sure to bring a smile to your face. While she is truly amazing, Gia cannot be adopted into a home with cats or small animals due to her strong prey drive. She does get a bit overexcited when greeting new people, especially when they enter the home, and would benefit from continued guidance on her greetings. Gia’s affectionate nature and strong bond with her humans make her an irresistible companion for an active household with other dogs—just no kitties, please! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
