A sad story that turned into a good one! Sweet Reema’s owners didn’t want her anymore because she went into heat and they couldn’t deal with her crying. They could have easily gotten her fixed and solved that problem but instead they threw her outside! A friend of theirs found out what happened and she took her before anything bad could happen, but she couldn’t keep Reema so she looked for help. She came into our rescue and we had her fixed right away. She likes being pet, will rub her head into your hand, and she rolls over onto her back asking for attention. She would do best in a quiet home with previous cat parents. She needs a little time to settle in and make herself comfortable. Within a few days she will become your new best friend. One of her ears is very unique and has a ruffled edge. From one of our volunteers after the first time meeting her said “Reema is a sweetie and kept nudging my hand for scratches while I cleaned her box.” Reema most likely would be happy as an only pet in a quiet home.
