About Brownie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Brownie, the sweetest one-year-old female Boxer/Pit Bull mix currently with Texas Pit Crew. This medium-sized, red-and-chestnut beauty was found abandoned on a country road and immediately captured hearts thanks to her energetic and affectionate nature. Brownie adores attention and pets, radiating puppy-like enthusiasm as she learns how to play. While she’s still mastering crate and leash training, she’s already house trained and channels her playful chewing into her toys. Brownie enjoys her daily walks—she starts off excited but soon finds her rhythm—and she loves basking in the sun or curling up for a cozy nap. Her crinkle-nosed smile will absolutely melt you! Brownie comes spayed and fully up-to-date on vaccinations, with no known health issues. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people, including older children she’s met so far. Though she can be shy and submissive with men, a patient, gentle, and positive home will help her blossom. She manages being left alone, adapts to new surroundings easily, and is getting more comfortable with car rides. While a home with a yard would be ideal, she’d also thrive in an apartment with regular walks and playtime. Brownie’s perfect match will be someone with a bit of training experience and lots of love and patience to help her reach her full potential. She’ll arrive with her bed, leash, collar, toys, and remaining food to help her settle in. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
