Cookie came to the rescue after her previous owner could no longer keep her and her friend. At first, Cookie spent several quiet days hiding and resting, but curiosity soon won out. Now she roams confidently and keeps a close eye on her environment. She’s not a lap cat but she is always open to gentle pets and attention from people. Cookie spends much of her day lounging and napping on cat trees. She gets along well with other cats and the resident dog, but she can hold her own and doesn’t mind being the only animal in the house. When she disagrees with another animal, Cookie isn’t shy about showing her sassy side—she’s both independent and affectionate, with a personality that stands out. Cookie is about 3.5 years old, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained. She’s happiest in a home with or without other animals and adapts easily either way.
