**Meet Blue Saturday, March 21st from 10 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Blue just came into our foster program and he's doing wonderfully in his foster home. He's a young Doberman mix, about a year old, and he weighs 37 pounds. He is neutered , vaccinated and microchipped. When Blue arrived at the shelter, he was very frightened and even afraid to lift his head to eat or drink. After a few days, he seemed to look forward to having visitors at his kennel and he started to wag his tail when a friendly volunteer approached. He still couldn't work up the courage to even stand up. It took over a week before he was ready to leave his kennel on his own for walks and socialization. Blue has now become familiar with several people and he's getting used to all the comforts of a loving home. He's playful, likes toys and fetch. He is joyful and eager to play when other dogs come to greet him. Blue is a very good dog and he deserves and needs a person or family who has patience and understands that he'll need some time to become more confident and to explore new environments and meet new people. Having a canine pal who can show him the ropes would be helplful.
