Meet Arnie ❤️ Arnie is a sweet, gentle 9-year-old Mastiff/Cane Corso mix who has been through a lot and is now looking for a calm, loving home to spend his golden years. He is neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, and ready for his next chapter. Arnie is a low-energy companion who mostly enjoys relaxing near his people. He’s happiest lying on his bed on the floor and being close to your side—classic loyal mastiff behavior. While he enjoys short walks, he is not highly active and prefers a peaceful environment. He would do best in a home with another friendly dog, as he doesn’t like being alone. He gets along well with other dogs and shows no signs of food aggression. He is also completely uninterested in cats. Arnie has met children ages 3–8 in his foster experience and has shown a very gentle, calm temperament around them. The only area he needs a little patience is with men. Arnie had a difficult past with a male owner, so he can be initially nervous and may whine or hesitate around men. However, with consistency and kindness, he typically warms up within about a week. He will come with his large kennel, which he considers his safe space, along with some of his belongings to help him transition comfortably. Arnie is truly a wonderful, loyal boy who just needs a patient home where he can feel safe and loved.
