About Lalo
The Toy Collector With Surprise Kisses Lalo is a baby boy born in July 2025, currently fostered in Maryland and ready to find his forever home. He’s very much in his puppy era — curious, playful, and almost always carrying around a toy like it’s his full-time job. He loves chew bones, squeaky toys, stuffed toys — if it exists, he’ll happily claim it. Fetch is still a work in progress. At the moment it’s more “fetch and keep it,” but he’s confident about it. Lalo is an adjacent snuggler. He wants to be near his people — stretched out beside you or hanging at your feet — without being overly clingy. And then, out of nowhere, he’ll run over, shower you in kisses, and casually go back to whatever he was doing. He loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. He also gets along well with cats and kids, making him a wonderful option for a variety of family setups. As a young puppy, Lalo will benefit from continued structure, guidance, and training to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. He’s eager, affectionate, and ready to learn. If you’re looking for a playful, social puppy who balances independence with bursts of affection, Lalo might be your perfect match. +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.stmuttsrescue.com/adoption-application +++++++ Lalo is currently in foster care in Maryland and will be transported to his approved adoptive family. +++++++ The Truth About Rescue: Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued. +++++++ Once we receive your application, our team will review it and reach out to set up an interview with one of our volunteers. If you have any questions, please email SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com . Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both pets and families.
