About Molly & Madeline Spring
Molly & Madeline Spring are a mother-daughter pair who need an experienced cat person to help them come out of their shells. Molly, the mom, is a gentle soul who stays cautious but enjoys being petted on her terms. She spends her days huddled with Madeline or relaxing under the bed, and you’ll catch her in the window when she feels safe. Molly prefers playtime either alone or with Madeline, but not with humans—and never likes being picked up. She gets along with male and female cats, as long as there’s no rough play or chasing. Madeline sticks close to her mother and hides most of the day, only emerging for food or in the safety of darkness. Humans are scary to Madeline; she should only be handled by someone who is truly confident and patient with shy cats. She’s not aggressive but growls if approached and could become more affectionate in time—though right now she’d rather just co-exist as a very quiet roommate. Both are spayed, up to date on vaccines, negative for FeLV and FIV, flea and worm treated, microchipped, and litter box trained. The best fit is a calm home, ideally with female cats and a low-key lifestyle. Give these girls a chance to settle in at their own speed. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
