About Rolo

Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Rolo! Rolo is a loving mix of shepherd and rottweiler who was found as a stray. With a gentle 70-pound frame, a short black and tan coat, and an incredibly sweet disposition, Rolo has charmed everyone at the rescue. He does well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is always happy to be around friendly faces. Rolo currently lives with a female dog his size and gets along beautifully in a calm, relaxed environment; he's truly a mellow couch potato and will thrive in a quiet home, whether with a family or an individual seeking a loyal companion. While Rolo's new family may need to help him finish learning his housetraining, his kind nature and easygoing spirit more than make up for it. Because he hasn’t lived with cats, he’s seeking a cat-free home. Despite his mix, don’t let his appearance fool you—Rolo is a sweetheart through and through. He is currently in the care of Paw Pals of Hale Center in the Texas Panhandle, with transport available to multiple states. Rolo’s adoption interview and meet-and-greet can conveniently take place by video call before he heads to his forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
