Cappy is a food-motivated, social pup who has mastered the art of snuggling and enjoys an electric blanket almost as much as he loves a game of chase with his jolly ball. The foster notes that Cappy is quick to bond with people and can be downright disappointed if someone passes up a chance to give him a good scratch. Routine is his friend—he's efficient with bathroom breaks and proudly returns for enthusiastic praise (and the promise of a cookie). Cappy is clever and loves to learn. He knows basic commands and picks up new tricks for treats, whether it’s a sit, wait, or a silly dance on cue. Most training happens while he’s hand-fed at mealtimes, and he’s picked up house manners well, including a surprise proficiency in sneaking quietly around the house. He’ll settle down for the night in his exercise pen with little fuss, and his sleep habits (occasional snores and “talking” in dreams) bring some charm. This one-year-old brindle-and-white boy fits best with adopters who are home much of the time and willing to engage his playful, curious nature. He gets along with both dogs and cats.
