My name is Ozzie, and I am 1.5 years old. 16 lb Pug. Before I cam to Humane Tomorrow, I was living with 5 other Pugs, all relatives of some kind, together in a house. We never went outside of the house, and I know now what a mess and how unhealthy that was. Now I am in a foster home, with other dogs, but we go outside into a yard, and my foster family has been teaching me what doggies are supposed to do. I've learned a lot in the last few weeks, but still have more to learn. I'm a little mouthy - using my mouth and teeth sometimes (just to play), but still probably not a good fit with young kids. I've discovered that I especially like to play tug with my people, but sometimes I get a little overstimulated when I play. So, just let me win and call the game! I get along well with the other dogs in the household most of the time, and have discovered I like to chew on nylabones. I like to sit with my people, cuddling with them and sometimes I like to get up high on the top of chairs so I get a view of everything around me. I am still getting used to this thing around my neck (collar) and walking on a leash, but I like it in my foster home with all the attention I'm getting. I am crate trained, but any new home will need to continue my house training. I've been wearing a belly band while I figure things out.
