About Grapenut
Meet Grapenut! Grapenut was surrendered to me on 3/12 when his mom had to move out of town to care for her sick mother. He is a little over a year old. Grapenut is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas, vaccinated Rabies and vaccinated 1st round FVRCP. He will need to see a veterinarian in April for his 2nd round FVRCP. Grapenut uses the litter box without issue. Grapenut is a very playful, curious and active guy. He enjoys affection but becomes overstimulated easily. He was fixed on 3/16 so I do anticipate some of his tendency for overstimulation will decrease. Grapenut has shown a fair amount of aggression towards other cats. He becomes overstimulated around them and has then shown aggression towards me. For these reasons, I firmly believe he needs to be an only cat. Given his tendency for overstimulation, he also needs a home that understands his signals and will give him the enrichment that he needs to get his energy out. This also means a home with older kids if kids are present. Please take a look at this webpage below for more information on overstimulation. https://www.catcaresociety.org/overstimulation-in-cats/ Grapenut is truly a very sweet boy and will do well in the right home. Given he was just neutered, and neutered after age 1, he did have a lot of testosterone coursing through his system up until recently so his personality will simmer more over the next couple of months as well. Though, this won't solve his tendency for overstimulation, just decrease it some. Grapenut's adoption fee is $75. I require potential adopters to meet with me in my home to ask questions and to meet Grapenut. I am located in S Everett near Mariner HS.
