This sweet, affectionate boy is the perfect mix of playful energy and couch-loving snuggles—he’s either “full speed ahead” or happily curled up soaking in all the love from his humans. Ben is in great health, up to date on all his vaccinations, and has received care through Arbor Hills Veterinary. He’s also worked with a professional trainer and has made great progress with leash walking when given structure, space, and guidance. At home, Ben is incredibly loving. He adores being close to his people, will happily climb onto the couch for pets and belly rubs, and even shows his gentle side by grooming the family cat. He thrives on attention and truly just wants to be part of the family. Ben’s favorite things? 🎾 Fetch (his absolute passion—this boy can fly!) 🦴 Nylabones and durable chew toys 🥜 Kongs filled with peanut butter 🧠 Puzzle feeders (as long as they’re sturdy!) ⸻ 🏡 The Home Ben Needs Ben is looking for a very specific home where he can truly succeed and shine. • Dog-free home required – Ben is dog-reactive and does best as the only pet • No young children – not due to aggression, but because of his size, strength, and excitement level • Experienced owner preferred – someone familiar with training, structure, and managing reactivity • Secure environment with supervision and consistency Ben has made progress, but he still needs an owner who understands his triggers and can continue to guide him with patience and confidence. ⸻ 💛 A Few Honest Notes Ben is a strong, enthusiastic dog who doesn’t always realize his size. When he’s excited, he can be a bit of a “bull in a china shop,” so supervision and management are important. He is crate-trained and does well with structure. He also benefits from being confined to a safe space when unsupervised, as he can chew on things like socks, paper, or toys if given the opportunity.
