Chance is a 1.5-year-old pit bull with a big heart, lots of energy, and so much potential. He was surrendered to our shelter due to separation anxiety that led to some destructive behavior in the home—but with the right guidance and commitment, Chance has all the makings of an incredible companion. He’s been an indoor dog his whole life, though he may need a little refresher when it comes to house training and basic manners as he adjusts to a new environment. With consistency and patience, he’s sure to catch on quickly! Chance does well with children and other dogs, making him a great fit for a family setting. He hasn’t been around cats, so a home without them (or a slow, careful introduction) would be best.
