Patty is a 6-month-old, 15 lb pittie mix puppy with a story that will tug at your heart—but it’s her spirit that will truly make you fall in love. This sweet girl had a heartbreaking start to life. She’s missing part of her front right leg and a couple of toes on her back foot, and when she was first rescued, she was covered in scars and scabs. Despite everything she’s been through, Patty is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. It’s taken some time, but in her foster home Patty has started to open up—and now her gentle, loving personality is shining through. She absolutely adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine friend to cuddle with and learn from. She’s also good with cats, and mostly ignores them. She makes the most wonderful little snuggle buddy. Patty may need a bit of extra patience as she continues to build confidence, but she is so worth it. She’s a sweet, resilient girl who just wants to be loved. She is currently working on the basics like potty training, crate training, and manners, and is making progress every day. Patty is very food motivated which helps make training a bit easier. Spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines, Patty is ready to leave her past behind and start her new life—one filled with cozy beds, tasty treats, and all the love she’s always deserved.
