Meet Brownie! Brownie is a beautiful 7-year-old female Rhodesian Ridgeback who found herself in the shelter through no fault of her own. She came in with her longtime companion, Tex, after an unfortunate change in their family life left them needing a new home. Brownie is a sweet, expressive, and very talkative girl who isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts—you might even suspect there’s a smidge of hound dog mixed in with her Ridgeback roots! She’s been by Tex’s side her whole life, and the two have been a source of comfort for one another during this big transition. While Brownie and Tex do not have to be adopted together, they would truly prefer it, as they’ve only ever known life side by side. Brownie would do best in a loving home that appreciates her personality, her voice, and her loyal heart—whether that’s with Tex or on her own with a family ready to adore her.
