About Honey

Honey offers many health benefits including soothing coughs, healing wounds, boosting antioxidants, and improving heart and gut health due to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and rich nutrient profile. Did you know that even our vets at PACC use honey to treat wounds? Its properties are pretty magical! While not recommended as an addition to your cup of tea, we have a pretty magical, spirited pup named Honey that we’d love to introduce you to! Honey lived in a home for a few months and was reported to be a very affectionate gal who loves toys, likes to go hiking, and is always at your side! She absolutely loves to cuddle in bed and is housetrained with a schedule. Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter had to say: “Honey is a funny, goofy, affectionate long-legged lady! She was friendly and easy to leash up when I met her for the first time today! We made our way over to a play yard where she immediately began bounding around and exploring. When I returned with her kennelmate, she was so excited and tried to engage him in play. She has big puppy energy and spent her time running around the yard and checking in with me. I'm sure she would thrive in a home where she could go for long walks or hikes and work on training to keep her mind and body engaged. When she couldn't get her kennelmate to play with her, she ended up running figure eights around and around the play yard by herself- a very fun girl!” Honey has shared her kennel politely and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Honey is eager and spunky and will thrive with training and consistency with a loving family. Honey is as sweet as she is fun and she’s ready to head home! Ask to meet her today!
