About Ivy

Click apply to start the adoption process. Say hello to Ivy! This spirited American Shorthair has made impressive strides during her month in foster care. Fostering has provided Ivy with the opportunity to decompress and slowly gain confidence in herself and those around her. Arriving anxious and unsure, Ivy was once quick to swipe and didn't enjoy human touch, but her dedicated foster mom has steadily earned her trust with patience and compassion. Ivy is beginning to show her affectionate, playful side. These days, she's open to gentle pets and attention, allowing her charming personality to emerge. She still has a pinch of sass—on occasion, she’ll sneak in an ankle grab for fun, so keeping her nails trimmed is important. Her foster describes her as a fun girl with just enough attitude to keep you on your toes. At three years old, Ivy is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She’s ready to find a loving home that will understand her journey and continue nurturing her confidence so she can fully blossom. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
