About Mabel
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Mabel is a sweet little calico who is equal parts affectionate snuggler and curious adventurer. This loving cat thrives on human connection, whether she's curled up with you on the couch during your favorite show or settling in next to you at bedtime for some cozy snuggles. Her love for treats makes bonding time fun and rewarding. When she's not enjoying close company, her playful spirit comes alive as she chases toys, pounces on anything that moves, and watches the world go by from a sunny window. Mabel's outgoing, social nature makes her a pleasure to have around, and she's completely at ease sharing her space with a large dog. Though Mabel has a significant heart condition that will require ongoing care, you would never know it from her energy and zest for life. She requires medication twice daily, which is easily managed—especially since she adores food. While her estimated lifespan is 18 months to 3 years and surgery is not an option, Mabel remains lively and playful, enjoying every moment. This wonderful girl is searching for a caring adopter who can provide the love and special attention she needs. To support her placement, her adoption fee is waived in hopes she finds a warm, dedicated home. Mabel and her sister Dot share a deep bond and would be thrilled to be adopted together, although each is independent enough to thrive separately. Both bring joy with their friendly, confident personalities and relaxed attitude around people and big dogs. Adoption covers a full veterinary exam, spay, prepaid microchip, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, rabies, and preventatives for heartworm, ear mites, and fleas/ticks during rescue care. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
