Mabel
AvailableMabel is a small adult female domestic short hair currently living in Brooklyn Center, MN. She is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Mabel gets along very well with both cats and dogs. She has a medical condition requiring daily medication and needs a special adopter willing to offer her the care and affection she deserves.
About Mabel
Mabel is a small calico full of charm, always toggling between snuggling up close to people and darting around in playful pursuit of whatever moves. She gravitates toward her humans, whether that means claiming a warm lap while you watch TV or curling up beside you through the night. Her eagerness for treats makes bonding and even medication time especially easy and fun. When not stretching out for cuddles, she can usually be found leaping after toys or soaking up the sunshine as she keeps watch from the window. Mabel gets along with everyone—she’s relaxed around people, other cats, and even large dogs, making her remarkably adaptable. Mabel does have a serious heart condition. She needs ongoing medication twice daily (which she happily takes with her food), and her life expectancy is estimated at 18 months to 3 years. The adoption fee is waived to help her find someone willing to care for her special needs; despite her diagnosis, she is bright, lively, and relentlessly playful. Mabel and her sister Dot make a joyful pair and would love to be adopted together, but either would do well in a home ready to cherish them as individuals. Her adoption includes full vetting, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations. Mabel is looking for a home willing to embrace her spirit and provide her the good days ahead. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
