Meet Pumpkin. Pumpkin is almost a year old, but her story began with unimaginable cruelty. At just 6 weeks old, she was rescued after suffering a severe head injury—her vet believed her head had been beaten with a bat. She should not have survived… but she did. And somehow, through it all, Pumpkin chose love. Today, she is a happy, resilient girl who is housebroken, crate trained, and wonderful with kids and other dogs. She has left her past behind and is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will never hurt her again. Pumpkin is currently fostered in Texas and is searching for her forever home. She’s already proven how strong she is. Now she just needs someone to choose her for life.
