About Jutta
Jutta came into rescue while pregnant after surviving abuse and neglect. She raised ten puppies, all now thriving in their new homes. Her foster initially hoped to keep her, but toddlers proved stressful for her anxious temperament. Jutta shines as a devoted companion: she gives gentle hugs standing on her back legs, doles out kisses, and likes to settle into long cuddles on the couch. Athletic but not hyper, she’ll chase a frisbee or ball and happily pass the rest of the day lounging. Walking on a leash is easy with Jutta, and she’s a calm rider in the car. She’s highly social with dogs of all types and ages, currently living with two small dogs she loves to roughhouse with. She is respectful with cats and shows little interest in chickens or livestock. Jutta welcomes adults and older kids but can’t live with children under 10—her anxiety and occasional reactivity are triggered by younger ones. Years of hardship left Jutta with anxiety and an uncanny knack for escaping standard crates, so she’ll need a dog-proof home when left alone but otherwise does fine unsupervised. Watch your countertops, though—she’ll help herself to any food left out. At under 2 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and receiving heartworm treatment, she’s well on her way to a happier chapter. She’s in Rockmart, GA with transport available. She’s a Capricorn; independent yet steady. Start your journey together! Apply now.
