Ted sounds like the kind of dog who has never met a stranger in his life. According to staff, he approached with huge happy wiggles, immediately asking for hugs the moment help arrived, and he has continued showing that same affectionate personality at the shelter. During his exam he was described as incredibly sweet, easy to handle, and very generous with kisses. Some dogs cautiously size people up first. Ted apparently skips that entire process and jumps straight to “best friends forever.” Everything about Ted’s notes points toward a social, loving dog who genuinely enjoys being around people. Staff repeatedly described loose full-body wags, affectionate greetings, and calm handling throughout his care. He seems eager to connect, eager to please, and happiest when he gets attention and affection in return. Ted feels like the type of dog who would happily become someone’s constant shadow, cuddle buddy, and enthusiastic welcome committee all rolled into one.
