About Aruba
Aruba is a sweet, mellow Black Labrador Retriever mix who was rescued along with her puppies from a tough situation and is now settling into life as a beloved foster dog in Spring, TX. At about 3 years old, she’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, with a friendly and gentle nature. Aruba fits easily in a home with other dogs—she integrated seamlessly into her foster family and enjoys lounging, playing, and sharing treats and toys. She does well with the cats she lives with, either napping beside them or giving them a curious sniff, but never showing anything but relaxed curiosity. Aruba’s style is calm and easygoing; she prefers naps next to her people or basking in the sun over rigorous exercise. She’s house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and perfectly content free roaming the house when left alone. Aruba greets her foster family with happiness—showing off her adorable hops at mealtimes and when welcoming her people home. She’s shy with strangers and settles best in a patient household that can give her time to adjust. Aruba has done well with older children, and her foster recommends a calm environment with kids who respect her boundaries. A home with another laidback dog would help her confidence. Aruba truly shines once she’s comfortable, becoming affectionate and loyal, always up for a cuddle or quiet companionship. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
