Lola is in need of a calm, safe place where she can get the care and attention she deserves. Recently found running near St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, she’s a Cane Corso mix, estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing about 84 lbs. She’s heartworm and Lyme positive and currently pregnant, due to have puppies in about two weeks. Shelter is new for her, but even now Lola is showing a gentle and affectionate side. Right now, her most urgent need is a foster or foster-to-adopt home with a quiet environment so she can recover and safely welcome her litter.
