Nolan is 2 years old and about 25 lbs. He was running around a trailer park where neighbors said he got along with everyone people and dogs alike. Someone eventually brought him to the shelter so he'd be safe. He's a long little guy with short legs, definitely some Basset hound in this guy. Friendly and easygoing so far. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
