About Sonia & Cookie

Start your journey together! Apply now. Sonia and Cookie are a gentle bonded pair whose lives took a turn when their family moved overseas to care for a loved one. Once feral, these beautiful tortoiseshell girls found comfort together in a caring garage, a safe place created by their previous family. Now in rescue after a long journey, Sonia and Cookie are seeking a patient, understanding home where they can continue to blossom at their own pace. While they both remain shy, Cookie is starting to gain confidence and spends time out of hiding, while Sonia prefers to watch from a distance until the coast is clear. Their greatest wish is a loving family who will let them settle in naturally and love them as they are. The girls are used to a cozy indoor lifestyle, but they would also be happy in a safe barn environment where they are cared for and never left to fend for themselves. Ideally, Sonia and Cookie will be adopted together so Cookie can continue to be Sonia's source of comfort and security. Both are spayed, vaccinated, and have tested FIV/Leukemia negative, ready for new beginnings. Their previous family, devoted to their well-being, drove hours so they could have a chance at a brighter future. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
