Meet Oreo, an 8 year old fluffy husky mix who is more than ready for his forever home. Oreo was surrendered to a desert shelter in 2024 with his brother, his only constant. When his brother was rescued months before him, Oreo was left behind and spent nearly two years in an outdoor shelter before Bubbles Dog Rescue stepped in. Despite all of that, he is incredibly LOVING, balanced, and easy to be around. He’s goofy, affectionate, and happiest just being with his people whether that’s on a walk, a car ride, or relaxing at home. He’s potty trained, very treat motivated, and has the CUTEST little spin when he’s excited. Oreo is currently working on getting to a healthier weight after his time in the shelter. He’s around 70 lbs now and would ideally be closer to 55 to 60, and he’s doing great with it!!!! He would likely do best as the only dog where he can finally have all the love, but may also do well with a calm, respectful dog. Oreo has waited long enough. He’s ready to be chosen!!!
