Meet Velvet -a truly sweet, playful puppy with a heart full of love and energy to spare! Velvet is all about playtime, especially when a tennis ball is involved. Fetch is her absolute favorite, and she could happily play for hours! She's already house-trained and does well in her crate once settled, even if she doesn't choose it on her own. Velvet walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is eager to be by your side on adventures. Velvet has learned how to sit and does wonderfully during feeding time. She does okay with cats and could likely live in a cat household with the right feline companions. She did well with the few dogs she met during her time at the shelter. This athletic girl would thrive with an active family and a large, secure yard. A tall, fenced-in space is important-Velvet can clear a 4-foot fence with ease, though she's only tempted if left alone. With the right environment and plenty of love, Velvet will make an incredible, fun-loving companion.
