Toad came to us as a tiny puppy after being left in a stranger’s yard, critically ill and in need of emergency surgery for an intestinal obstruction. From the very beginning, he showed us just how strong and resilient he is, making a full recovery and continuing to shine brighter every day. While his journey hasn’t been perfectly linear, it has led him right where he’s meant to be. With time, patience, and the support of a board and train program, Toad has blossomed into an incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate boy. He forms deep bonds with his people, leans in for love, and has the most beautiful way of quietly showing just how much he cares. Watching Toad grow in confidence has been nothing short of incredible. He’s discovering the world isn’t so scary after all, and with the right person by his side, there’s no limit to how much he will continue to thrive. Toad is ready for his forever home.
