Meet Ivy 💕 Ivy is a German Shepherd Mix puppy. Her estimated birthday is 1/4/2026, and on 3/4/26 she weighed 12lbs. Ivy’s story is one of resilience and a second chance she so deeply deserved. She was struggling with a painful skin infection and was placed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Ivy’s story didn’t end there… She was allowed to leave that life behind and start fresh. 🐾🐶 Today, Ivy is thriving and has grown into a wonderfully well-behaved, easygoing puppy. She has a true “go with the flow” personality that makes her a perfect fit for just about any home. Whether she’s playing with her toys or relaxing nearby, Ivy is happiest just being part of the family. 🏡 Her favorite thing of all? Being held like a baby and soaking up all the love she can get. 💗 She melts into your arms and will happily stay there as long as you let her; she’s the definition of a cuddle bug. Ivy is currently fostered in a home with both a dog and a cat and does great with both. She’s social, gentle, and learning the rhythms of home life beautifully. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters! *We have a strong adoption process, backed by reviews from previous adopters.
