About Coco

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Coco, your soon-to-be loyal shadow, expert sniffer, and future best friend. Coco is a 55-lb Chow Chow/Shepherd mix, born around 2017, making her a wise and mature 8-year-old companion. She has truly mastered being an ideal housemate: fully house trained, wonderful on a leash, and so trustworthy that a crate is never needed. When you leave, Coco may whimper for a moment but quickly settles and patiently waits for your return. Coco's favorite activities revolve around spending time with her people, whether it's going on adventures filled with irresistible scents or simply being your devoted, watchful friend. Her loyalty runs deep, and she's eager to build a strong bond, making her best suited for a single person or a couple who can dedicate the time and patience to earn her trust. Once she loves someone, she is affectionate, devoted, and happiest by your side, both outdoors and while relaxing at home. While Coco does well with structured, slow introductions to new people and dogs, she can initially be protective and hesitant. On walks, she might react to other dogs out of uncertainty, but with time and understanding, she can become comfortable. Coco needs an experienced adopter who can continue to help her with these introductions and support her ongoing progress. Long car rides aren't her favorite, but she manages shorter trips just fine. If you want an affectionate, steadfast companion ready to give you her whole heart, Coco could be the one for you. She’s looking for someone who can offer patience, consistency, and love—she’ll return it tenfold! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
