About Tyson
Meet Tyson! Tyson is a 3-year-old Staffy mix with a big heart who’s eager to give out all the snuggles he’s been saving up. At 73 lbs, he brings a goofy, sweet-natured energy and is one of those dogs that quickly makes a place feel like home. After being left behind by his family and waiting nearly two years at a sanctuary, he’s now thriving in his foster home and ready to move on with his life. What stands out most with Tyson is his love for close company—he soaks up every belly rub, snuggle, and bit of attention you can offer. He’s happiest when he’s near people, always down to lounge around the house or kick back after a short walk. Despite being a Staffy mix, his energy is pretty mellow; he’s all about laid-back vibes with the occasional spark of silliness. Tyson is potty and crate trained and handles time alone calmly, though he does have some moderate anxiety—thankfully, without any real separation issues. Outside of the home, he can get along with other dogs after calm introductions, but indoors he’ll do best as your one-and-only. No info yet on cats or kids, but he’s proved respectful and quiet inside. He’s currently happy in a single-story home with a small yard, fitting easily into quiet or moderately busy routines. If you want a low-maintenance, loyal friend who prefers to be right by your side, Tyson is a solid pick. He’s waited long enough for a stable, loving person or family who just wants a dog to hang out and relax with. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
