He’s fully house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a structured home. Bernie gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion or regular playtime with friends. When meeting new people, Bernie may bark at first—especially around men—but don’t let that fool you. With a little patience and a calm approach, he warms up quickly and shows his friendly, affectionate side within minutes. He’s also alert to outside noises, making him a great little watchdog. Bernie has some adorable quirks that make him extra special. He loves carrying his stuffed toys around the house (and even his blankie!), but fair warning—if a toy has a squeaker, he’ll make it his mission to remove it! He’s a big fan of durable chew toys and will happily keep himself entertained with the right ones.
