About Yowlie
Yowlie earned his name for his famously big voice—you probably could have heard him calling from across the neighborhood. He used to fend for himself outdoors, and the wide jowls of his face are a telltale sign of a life outside, but he’s now safe, warm, and well-fed. At about 7 years old, Yowlie is an adult tomcat who’s now neutered and settling into indoor life. He’s what you’d call talkative and seeks out attention but may start off a little cautious until he trusts you. A home that’s on the quieter side suits him best; younger kids aren’t his speed, though older children are just fine. Yowlie’s good about sharing his space with other cats if you take introductions slow. He’s never met a dog, so canine companions probably aren’t a good fit. He uses the litterbox reliably and is microchipped, healthy on his recent FELV/FIV test, and up to date on vaccines. He does need regular eye ointment for a teary eye, which he handles patiently—his foster will explain more about that. It boils down to love, patience, and a steady hand.
