Cute CHLOE is a 3 year old, 9 pound Yorkie who had been purchased as a puppy to breed but became too large as an adult so she was never bred. She is a quiet, shy girl upon first introduction but loves getting attention and affection from her person. She loves going outside in these warmer temperatures so we would like a securely fenced yard for her safety and enjoyment. So that means not an invisible fence, using a tie out, or going to a dog park for exercise. CHLOE has been doing well with her house training with her foster mom at home with her during the day and letting her out frequently. A new owner who is home all day or works from home and is able to keep her on a schedule is desired. Since coming into rescue CHLOE has needed the following vet care: she had her exam and bloodwork with fecal check, was found to be a lyme positive but has no symptoms and is on Doxycycline for 30 days, has been spayed and had a dental cleaning, had her distemper combination with lepto and booster, bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, and is microchipped. She is on heartworm/flea preventative. If you meet the above requirements and think your home is the one for CHLOE, the first step is to contact us by email (NOT using the Petfinder link as we have difficulty receiving those inquiries) so send the email to: aboutrescuedogs@aol.com AND tell us about your family situation and explain why you think your home would be a good match for CHLOE. Also please include your name, address, and phone number in the email. We will also require the name and phone number of your vet clinic as a reference so phone ahead and advise them we will be calling. If CHLOE appears online as adoptable, she is still available. CHLOE will be shown at a meet and greet after approved application completion. Her adoption fee is $500 and includes (all new) collar, leash, harness, toys, crate, and food.
