Liam is an approximately 6-year-old boy who recently experienced a heartbreaking loss when his owner passed away. He was brought to a high-kill shelter, and we were able to step in and bring him to safety. Right now, Liam is understandably confused and a bit scared as he adjusts to all the changes in his life. He would greatly benefit from a calm, loving foster home where he can decompress, feel safe, and begin to trust again. Beneath his uncertainty, Liam is a very sweet dog who just needs patience, kindness, and understanding to help his true personality shine. With time and love, he has all the potential to become a devoted and wonderful companion. Liam is currently undergoing vetting—his blood work shows he is in good health, and he will be groomed soon. He’ll be ready for a home of his own before long. He would do best in a home with a yard rather than an apartment, and with someone who is home most of the time to provide the comfort and consistency he needs.
