It's hard to believe that Shakira is fully grown at 32 pounds. We first thought she was a puppy! She's just a smaller, fluffy shepherdy girl and she's absolutely adorable. She has the sweetest demeanor. We're looking for a special adopter for Shakira. She has had a couple of idiopathic (cause unknown) seizures in the shelter. We have her on medication and are hoping it will be successful at controlling her. She has co-existed so nicely around other friendly dogs and is very neutral! Shakira also was polite towards kitty friends-she may do well with them! Kiddos should be about 8ish and older. We would love to find an experienced adopter for Shakira. She is a pup who will need to be fulfilled mentally through enrichment and snufflemats. The best part about that, though, is that enrichment time with Shakira is SO fun. She is a girl who loves to learn and is totally into the activities! She is so smart and gets through new puzzle toys like she's been doing them for years. Working for treats is something you can count on Shakira to do! She loves food! A treat-motivated smart pup means that the opportunities are endless for what you can teach her!
