Elly’s story started with a little bit of bravery and a lot of determination. One day, this clever girl wandered through her foster mom’s dog door and helped herself to some cat food—like she’d always belonged there. It didn’t take long to realize this wasn’t a one-time visit… Elly showed up four times a day like clockwork! Soon after, her foster mom discovered Elly had an even bigger story—she was expecting kittens. After safely bringing her babies into the world, Elly is now ready for a fresh start of her own. Elly is healthy, happy, and thriving. She’s a friendly and easygoing girl who gets along well with both people and other cats. While she’s not a lap cat, she does enjoy affection and will happily accept pets—especially when it’s on her terms (as any self-respecting queen would 😉). Being picked up is allowed… when Elly decides it’s time! Elly has a playful side, too. She loves batting around toy mice and will happily chase them across the room. Toss her a small ball, and she’ll turn it into her own little soccer match! More than anything, Elly is looking for a place to finally call her own—a home where she can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the sweet, independent, and playful girl she is.
