The name is Chief and I'm a super handsome 1.5yr old male German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 1.5yrs old Kids: teenagers or adult home preferred Dogs: good with large dogs Cats: NO cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. My previous humans failed me miserably. They dumped me, where I was then hit by a car, and then some wonderful people rescued me, and brought me to the greatest rescue in the world!! 2. I have recently had FHO surgery to repair my hip. If you notice some of my hair missing in my pictures/video, thats why. I'm healing really well, gaining strength back every day. 3. Here's the thing, since having this surgery, I won't be a long distance runner or hiker. Some nice leisurely walks would be great and the romp around the yard too. Nothing too strenuous. 4. I'm a big boy with a big personality! I need to be adopted by someone with German Shepherd or working dog experience. I need a strong pack leader who will teach me the ropes & how to be the bestest boy. 5. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
