About Henderson Goodheart

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Henderson Goodheart's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Henderson Goodheart, an 8-week-old Lab mix, weighing approx. 7-10 pounds (as of 3/20/26). Henderson's hometown is Tennessee where he was born as a stray with his siblings, the GOODHEART litter. They're conveniently named that because of their sweetness and you guessed it: hearts of gold! Whether they're helping you cross a highly trafficked street or spoon-feeding your crying baby, these pups will always find ways to do good deeds. The best thing you can give them is a home! Henderson is the perfect wingman if you're looking to finally talk to that cute neighbor. He's seen all the best rom-coms: When Harry Met Sally, 27 Dresses, even 101 Dalmatians! Sure, 101 Dalmatians isn't "technically" a rom-com, but the dogs in the movie did bring their owners together! Henderson will do the same for you because his friendly and outgoing nature is unmatched. Just call him Cupid 'cause this boy's all about connection. The Goodhearts are friends to strangers and other dogs. While they have no experience with kids or cats, they're puppies with hearts of gold so don't count them out just yet! Even though the Goodhearts have not had experience with leashing, commands and are still working on potty training, they do have experience with crates. They hope you'll have patience with them as they become the best family members they can be! Their momma is probably 40 pounds and one of the daddies is about 40 pounds. There's another daddy we haven't been able to catch that's probably 60-70 pounds, so their final weight could be within these ranges. If you bring the Goodhearts home, you'll get: - Kisses and soft licks everyday, even for the smallest boo-boos! - Vitamin D! They love to explore so you'll have a reason to leave the house! - Attention from neighbors that previously ignored you! Everyone loves puppies! - Cuddles at night when the ghost haunting your home reappears! What are you waiting for? If you've got a heart, then bring the Goodhearts home today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
