Hi, my name is Lucas. I was born in a shed outside of Marysville with a large group of other cats. A wonderful caretaker looked after me from the time I was a baby and made sure I had food and care. When a team came to do trap-neuter-return for the colony, they weren't immediately sure if I was a friendly guy. Since then, I've been living in a foster home where I've truly blossomed. I still have an ear tip from when the humans thought I might have to return outside to the colony, but it turns out I was far too much of a snuggle bug for that life. I was meant to be an indoor kitty. I can be a little shy at first, but once you start petting me, I'll purr and purr and purr. I still have a few of my outdoor instincts, so loud noises or quick movements can startle me sometimes. With a little patience and kindness, though, I warm up quickly. I'm so excited to become part of a family and finally have a forever home. I promise to give all the love in my heart to the people who choose me.
