About Riley
Riley, once known as Burt, is figuring out what safety and comfort feel like after a challenging start. In the past, life was loud and unpredictable—he learned to stay quiet and cautious. These days, he’s still shy around new people, but loyal to the bone if you give him time and breathing room. He’s crate trained and views his kennel as a haven when things get overwhelming. Riley loves toys, leans into cuddles once he’s comfortable, and prefers sticking close to his person. Potty routine is a work in progress, but lately, he’s had a perfect week with zero accidents. He’s looking for a mellow, patient home where he can keep building trust and confidence at his own pace. Your patience could be the key Riley needs. Let him show you what real devotion looks like.
