Meet Cedar, one of the 13 cats rescued from an emergency intake at a known dumping site in New Brighton. Cedar is a big, hunky flame point boy who arrived in poor medical condition, with wounds, fleas, and a rough body condition. Initially, Cedar was quite reactive, and we weren't sure if he would be able to be placed or if he might need to be released. With time and care, Cedar has transformed into a sweet, affectionate boy. He now eagerly greets you at the front of his cage, meowing for attention and demanding pets. Cedar continues to make progress both behaviorally and medically.
